VCA utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education® program. With this program, your child is placed at his or her exact academic ability through diagnostic testing.

A.C.E.® curriculum develops wisdom, builds character, and teaches your child to set goals.

The curriculum encourages the involvement of parents.

A.C.E. teaches critical thinking skills. The focus is on the student learning rather than on the teacher teaching. As the parent, you are there as the facilitator.

The curriculum has taken the conventional text book and broken it down into smaller digestable chunks called PACEs.

The PACE scope and sequence provides a solid academic foundation in preparation for college.

Concepts are often broken down in such a way that makes it easier for the parent to explain the topic, even if it is an unfamiliar subject

Subjects Offered:

This 36 week phonic based kindergarten program provides you with a four-volume instructional manual that is essentially a daily lesson plan. Your student will have sixty colorful PACEs full of learning activities, stories, and animals that will encourage their desire to start reading.

Also included with this program is a fun music CD that reinforces the lessons taught to your child and a fun set of display cards that will help him or her visually recognize the letter sounds.

If your child scores at least an 80% on the ABCs Reading Readiness Test, she is ready to begin this phonics-based program. The first 12-18 weeks of first grade consist of working your way through the two-volume instructional manual designed with easy to follow daily outlines.

The ABC's Song CD, flash cards, and PACEs all work together to help your child learn to read and prepare them for the rest of the 1st Grade PACEs.

Curriculum Scope: Math, English, Social Studies, Science, Word Building (vocabulary), and Literature & Creative Writing (Grades 2-6) or Literature (Grades 7-8). You may also enrich your child's learning with Bible Reading (Grades 2-5) and/or Animal Science (Grade 2) courses. can be added
